Drill-free.
Patient-specific.
Fully digital workflow.
How iDentical’s™ 3D-Printed Dental Implants Work

iDentical’s™ patented process turns a tooth extraction into a ready-to-place, patient-specific implant within six days. There’s no drilling into the bone, no inventory, and no need for specialized surgical training. The entire experience is designed to fit seamlessly into any modern digital dental workflow—reducing time, cost, and complexity at every step.
This isn’t just a product—it’s a platform. We combine advanced digital scanning, proprietary CAD/CAM design, and precision 3D printing to deliver a streamlined clinical experience that benefits patients and dentists alike.
Step-by-Step: How It Works

Step 1: Tooth Extraction
The process begins when a dentist extracts a non-restorable tooth. Tooth extractions are common and performed by any trained dentist.

Step 2: Scan and Submit
Immediately after extraction, the dentist scans the extracted tooth using a standard intraoral scanner. The scan is securely uploaded to iDentical’s digital design portal, initiating the creation of a personalized implant.

Step 3: Custom Implant Design
Our patented design process generates a precise digital model of the implant, shaped almost identically to the patient’s unique anatomy. This allows for a tight press-fit into the socket.

Step 4: 3D Printing and Delivery
Each implant is manufactured using high-strength, medical-grade titanium and produced using state-of-the-art 3D printing technology.
The implant is delivered to the dentist in a sterile package, ready for immediate placement within 6-14 days of the extraction.

Step 5: 5-Minute Placement
Once received, the implant is placed in five minutes with minimal instruments and impact to the patient. There is no drilling!

Faster Treatment, Lower Barriers
iDentical reduces the time, risk, and overhead that traditionally limits implant adoption.

Wider Access for Patients
Any licensed dentist can place our implants, expanding the available market to all providers and increasing access for patients.

A Scalable Workflow
From scan to placement, the process is repeatable, predictable, and built for growth.

Preserves Natural Anatomy
Because we mimic the root geometry, there’s no drilling into healthy bone, which may lead to improved outcomes and reduced complications.
