DO YOU NEED A DENTAL IMPLANT?
If so, you may be eligible for a dental implant study.
The implant and restoration (cap) will be provided at no cost, and travel expenses to/from the clinic will be reimbursed.
WHAT IS A DENTAL IMPLANT?
A dental implant is an artificial tooth root placed into your jaw to replace a tooth that cannot be restored (e.g., deep cavity, broken, etc.).
WHO SHOULD CONSIDER A DENTAL IMPLANT?
Dental implants are an ideal option for people in good general and oral health with a tooth that cannot be restored with routine dental treatments (e.g., fillings, or crowns).
WHAT IS THE PURPOSE OF THIS STUDY?
The purpose of this study is to test an investigational dental implant that requires no drilling and is placed within 1-2 weeks after removal of the tooth. You will receive the restoration (cap) of the implant within 3 months.
WHAT IS INVOLVED IN PARTICIPATING?
The study has four stages:
1) Screening
2) Tooth extraction followed by a visit where the dental implant is placed with a temporary cap about one week later
3) Final cap is delivered
4) Follow-up visits
