I'm excited to share that we have authored our first provisional patent for iDentical: "Method for Designing, Producing and Placing a Drill-Free Dental Implant System." We sent it to our patent attorney today for review and plan to file it with the USPTO by the end of December. It's eight pages of explaining what we're doing in excruciating detail, with a focus on the key elements, steps and features that are unique. The process of writing the patent was a valuable one. It forced us to think through the entire process with a magnifying glass and get really clear on the specific steps, dimensions, possible alternative options for how steps can be completed, etc. We have three more patents we plan to file within the next eight weeks.
